Guildford Art Weekend is a four-day celebration of the visual arts, designed to showcase the talent of local artists and engage the community in creative experiences. Taking place in Guildford Town Centre, the event aims to revitalise the local art scene by utilising independent shops, arts venues, and creative spaces.

Whats on:

Workshops & Talks

Opportunities for all ages to participate in hands-on arts workshops and engage in discussions led by local creatives.

Walking Tour & Stamp Trail

Visitors collect stamps at different art locations, with potential incentives like free drinks or souvenirs at participating venues.

Art Exhibitions

Established arts venues as well as other well known spaces around the town centre will feature work from local artists, including students and charities, creating an interactive exhibition trail.

Student Open Call

Students currently taking GCSEs or A-Levels (14 - 18) will have the opportunity to submit artworks of any medium.  Finalists will be chosen by an elite panel of judges. 

Community Art Project

A collaborative heritage project where residents contribute to build a sculpture celebrating Guildford’s cultural history.

Public Open Call

An opportunity for the public to submit artworks of any medium to the festival. Finalists will be chosen by an elite panel of jusges.
